What would Habegger be without its employees? We are incredibly proud that we have been an employer of choice for our passionate employees for many years. This year, we are celebrating 13 employee anniversaries – and raising a toast to a total of 135 years spent at Habegger.
We sincerely thank you for your many years of commitment and your loyalty.

From our Stars of the Year, three employees talk about their time at Habegger.
Mathias began as a 19-year-old intern in what was then the System Integration department. Today, he works for us in Project Support.
“I particularly value the family atmosphere at Habegger. I’ve already made many friends, and I also meet up with my colleagues in my free time. What’s more, you’re accepted for who you are. The spirit of the events industry also ensures that, despite the sometimes large age differences, people here meet as equals and generally stay young. This has a positive influence on how people interact within the company.”
Ten years ago, Meret began her career in the Habegger family as an apprentice event specialist. She now works for us as an Expert Light.
“At 16 years of age, my goal was to begin an apprenticeship that I would enjoy and that would enable me to deepen my knowledge and skills. I was given this opportunity at Habegger and got to know some great people. It’s fun to implement great projects as a team and be able to marvel at the end result together. You’re always working with different people in different places, which makes the whole thing even more exciting. With a lot of hard work, I’ve been able to work my way up to the position of Expert Light, and I’m looking forward to the upcoming challenges at Habegger.”
Our Show Director, Christoph Runne, has now been creating unique Wow moments for our clients for 15 years.
“One of my highlights was in 2014 at the European Athletics Championships in Letzigrund. There were two special moments at this event for me: the first was Kariem Hussein winning gold in the 400-metre hurdles. The second was when the competitions had to be postponed by half an hour due to a storm warning. We always plan for such situations, so we were able to entertain the crowd with a varied succession of attractions at three-minute intervals. In those 30 minutes, I was fully absorbed by my passion as a director.”
