Simply put: a digital character. The exciting thing is that you can design it exactly according to your needs, your budget and your goals. The Meta Human can “work” simultaneously in any environment and time zone – this is no longer science fiction, but reality. Today’s technology allows digital humans to be created that look so realistic that you often have to look twice to recognise the difference from a real person.
The Meta Humans innovation has taken a real leap forward since 2021 and opportunities are constantly evolving. This opens up a completely new horizon for companies. The technical structure behind digital characters is based on an impressive combination of artificial intelligence (AI), 3D modelling and motion capture technology. With the help of AI, speech and behaviour are simulated in such a way that the character can react to conversation partners in real time – almost like a real person.
Photorealistic representations are created using 3D modelling and render engines such as Unreal Engine, while motion capture systems take movements and facial expressions to a whole new level. The integration of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning makes it possible for the digital character to be lively and interactive.
The technology is as reliable as live broadcasts on television – there is sometimes a minimal time delay during reports. But that’s just part of it. And we all know: live events always bring with them a certain degree of unpredictability. Even an experienced speaker can have a blackout or make a mistake. This is exactly what makes the live moment so unique and authentic.
Live mode: The Meta Human can interact live and “independently” with the audience or discussion partner. This results in a spontaneous, dynamic exchange – which creates moments of surprise, but also harbours the challenge that it is not always possible to control exactly what the Meta Human says.
Pre-recorded mode: If content is created in advance, the Meta Human’s messages can be controlled very specifically. This gives companies security and predictability, especially for important events or presentations.

We created a completely customised digital character for a corporate event – based on Meta Human technology. We completely revised the original character: The head was retained, but adapted to another digital body from an asset repository. This gave us the freedom to create a character that perfectly matched the concept of the event.
To bring the character to life, we used AI-supported text-to-audio technology that realistically produces the spoken text. The animations were adapted to the language file with great attention to detail to create a truly authentic result. The final scene was cinematically lit in Unreal Engine and provided with a futuristic, animated background.
During the physical event, the animated character was broadcast as a high-quality video. He simulated a staged real-time dialogue with the presenter on site – as an AI from the future. With a twinkle in his eye, the character gave humorous and exciting insights into the future development of the company. The visual quality – realistic and futuristic at the same time – thrilled the audience and was a clear indicator of innovation and creativity.
Low budget, high quality. The cost of a Meta Human does not have to explode. It depends on how detailed the character is designed and which platform is used. Our in-house expert Raphi (Senior Expert Media Production) has put many tools through their paces. He knows the best options for platforms that deliver high-quality results.
The costs depend just as much on the requirements. Should it be a digital twin, i.e. an exact digital copy of a real person, or a completely fictitious character?
