From June to October 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming eleven new talents to our company. They bring diverse experience, exciting perspectives and plenty of fresh energy with them. This mix of know-how and curiosity strengthens our team and inspires us to explore new paths together. We are excited to drive innovative projects forward with you and to shape the future of Habegger together.
We spoke with 11 of them and took a look behind the scenes. Get inspired and discover the people behind the roles. In the portraits, learn what makes them unique – and how they enrich our team.

Aneirin Timothy, Trainee Corporate Services

After Year 6, Aneirin decided to attend the Gymnasium – he successfully passed the probationary period. But he quickly realised that this path was not right for him. So he switched back to secondary school and prepared for the entrance exam for commercial college. So he switched back to secondary school and prepared for the entrance exam for commercial college. He continued his education in economics at the Hottingen Cantonal School. Three years later, he is now doing a one-year internship at Habegger and gaining his first practical experience – first in marketing, later in HR and the customer centre.
Aneirin got to know Habegger at a contact seminar at his school. At first, he knew very little about the company – but after doing some quick research, his interest was immediately piqued. The fact that the location is close to his home was an added bonus. He has been part of the marketing team since August and has a wide range of responsibilities: he is in charge of the employee page on the website, assists with social media communication, and creates reports and blog posts.
He was particularly impressed by the construction of the Super10Kampfs in the Hallenstadion and how quickly a huge event area can be created. His greatest motivation is seeing that his work has a direct impact and feeds back into the company.
David Koch, Concepter

After his time as an assistant director at the Schauspielhaus, David studied German studies and then worked as a freelance theatre director – a creative field in which he is still active today. Later, his curiosity for communication and design led him to the ZHAW, where he worked in the field of sustainability communication. He intensively dealt with the staging of spaces and exhibitions – experiences that ultimately led him to Habegger.
David became aware of the advertised position as Concepter & Storyteller via LinkedIn. Since September, he has been contributing his ideas – developing creative concepts, making stories tangible, ensuring appealing presentations and always keeping an overview of the common threads of the topics during pitches and projects.
A special highlight for the concepter was the pitch for a 100-year anniversary project. Together with the team, he won the pitch, which has stayed particularly memorable for him. What he appreciates most about his work is the diversity and unpredictability: “I often don’t know what the day will bring – and that’s exactly what makes it exciting.” Three words he uses to describe Habegger: dynamic, welcoming and diverse.
Debora Kittel, Event Technician Venue Service

Debora comes from St. Gallen, where she grew up and attended school. Early on, she discovered her enthusiasm for music – first as a musician, later for the technology behind it. This passion led her to the SAE Institute, where she studied audio engineering for two years and gained her first insights into event technology. After graduating, she knew she wanted to continue her career in this exciting field and further deepen her knowledge.
She came across Habegger through a job posting for the Venue Service. The versatile working environment immediately convinced her, and she was given the opportunity to also dive into lighting and video technology. Working with different systems and learning something new in various productions made Habegger the ideal employer for her to develop both professionally and personally.
Since October 2025, Debora has been part of the team. She is responsible for the setup, operation and dismantling of audio, lighting and video systems. What she appreciates most is that every production brings new challenges – there is no routine in her job.
Gioia Bauer, Apprentice Event Technology

Right after completing compulsory school in Aargau, Gioia Bauer began her apprenticeship at Habegger. While searching online for a suitable apprenticeship, she came across the company. After the trial day, she quickly knew she was in the right place: “The team was likeable from the very beginning and the atmosphere felt right immediately,” she says. For around three months now, Gioia has been training as an event technology apprentice. She supports the setup and dismantling of a wide variety of events and works with the team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
She particularly appreciates the variety of her work: there are fixed tasks, but also constantly new challenges. Being out and about with a small, motivated team and successfully delivering an event together gives her great joy.
In her free time, Gioia is involved with Jubla, a youth and sports organization similar to the Scouts – just without badges. She also enjoys spending time in nature, especially climbing, which gives her the perfect balance to everyday event life.
Jonas Michel, Project Manager

Originally from Göttingen, Jonas grew up in Hamburg until starting school and later in Hildesheim. He completed training in event technology and has since been permanently active in the event industry. Outside of work, he is drawn to the mountains – climbing or enjoying nature helps him switch off.
A job advertisement sparked his interest. Jonas had only recently moved to Switzerland, and what convinced him most was the friendly interaction and the open, collegial atmosphere within the team. Since July, he has been working almost exclusively in the Formula 1 team. As a project manager, he oversees, plans and implements the races on site and ensures that all processes run smoothly. The varied work, which requires organizational talent and flexibility, makes his job particularly exciting.
One event that stayed especially memorable for him was the Formula 1 race in Austin, Texas. Despite last-minute changes from the client and limited technical resources, the Habegger crew successfully delivered everything.
Kristin Sandel, Crew Booker

Born in Lucerne, Kristin completed commercial school and then additional training as a railway operations dispatcher at SBB. After moving to Zurich, she joined SAP in Regensdorf, where she worked as a team and project assistant. In August 2000, she fulfilled her dream of flying and started her career as a flight attendant. As Maître de Cabine, she was also responsible for young talents for 25 years.
After the COVID period, Kristin had the opportunity to return to office work. At the airport restaurant Runway 34, she worked as a Sales Coordinator / Event Manager before seeking a new challenge and becoming aware of Habegger.
Since the beginning of August, Kristin has been part of the team and ensures in crew booking that the right people are in the right place at the right time. She particularly remembers the Habegger summer party, to which she was invited even before her official start – she still feels the openness and warmth of the team today. She lives with her husband and two sons in the Furttal region and appreciates life in all its facets.
Nils Scharpf, Trainee Corporate Services

Early on, Nils discovered his interest in business and organization. At the WMS in Aarau, he gained his first professional experience and completed a five-week internship at ABB. He also spent half a year in Geneva as part of an exchange program, where he improved his French skills.
“The internship at Habegger is varied – exactly what I was looking for,” he says. Since August, Nils has been completing his one-year internship with us and actively supports the People & Culture team in application management, claims handling and onboarding and offboarding processes. At the same time, he supports Habegger’s customer center. From February, he will change departments and work in marketing.
A particularly memorable experience for him was the customer event Weltklasse Zürich: “A highlight was the backstage tour – a unique behind-the-scenes insight I won’t forget anytime soon. And the fireworks at the end of the show – simply brilliant!” What he enjoys most in everyday work is the exchange with applicants and managing applications. Three words he uses to describe Habegger: open, dynamic and diverse – and that’s exactly how his time here sounds.
Pablo Schmed, Apprentice Event Technology

Originally from Graubünden, Pablo began an apprenticeship as a polymechanic after finishing school, but quickly realized that this profession was not for him. At the same time, he discovered his passion for electronic music and events. Wanting to get closer to the world of event technology, he gained his first practical experience during an internship at Hemmisound in Chur.
He began his apprenticeship there, but after the second year wanted to change to a larger company and thus came to Habegger. The variety of jobs and the team spirit at Habegger suit him perfectly. Since October, the aspiring event technician has been part of the team, learning the processes and helping wherever support is needed.
He was particularly impressed by the visit to LEaD con in Hamburg, a trade fair for event technology. There, he was able to discover modern systems and equipment and, above all, getting to know the entire apprentice team personally. Pablo appreciates the mix of variety and spontaneity in his job: when things are quiet, he can organise his day flexibly – when things are busy, he really gets down to business.
Timo Brem, Apprentice Event Technology

At the age of 16, the Zurich native began his apprenticeship as an event technician. After several trial days at different places, he was invited to an information afternoon at Habegger. The special team spirit immediately stood out to him: a motivated, friendly team where collaboration is truly lived.
Timo mainly works in lighting, expanding his understanding of operational processes and taking on various practical tasks depending on the situation. At the same time, he regularly rotates between different areas and thus gains a comprehensive insight into all disciplines of event technology.
The Seaside Festival still fascinates him today. The fast changes between acts were impressive, and as a followspot operator, he was able to accompany the artists directly with light – an experience that gave him even more joy in his training.
What Timo appreciates most is the variety in his everyday work: no day is like another, and it is precisely this flexibility that makes his job so exciting.
Our team will continue to broaden in the future, as we are always on the lookout for exceptional personalities for live communication.
Every two years, Habegger takes a close look at its own working environment together with “Great Place to Work®”, with the aim of identifying optimisation potential in order to remain an attractive employer in the future, too. In 2024, we have once again received the award for an optimal working environment.
