Three of our employees celebrating anniversaries offer a glimpse behind the scenes, tell us which event they look back on with particular pride and reflect on their time at Habegger so far.
Natascha has been working as a producer in Team Creation for five years. She came to Habegger through a conversation with a former employee at a concert.
“Habegger showed me that a job doesn’t have to feel like a job, but can simply be fun – I’d never had that before. My job profile has also developed continuously over the last few years and I have learnt a lot of new things. The projects have got bigger and bigger and my responsibilities have increased. I have also been supervising an apprentice mediamatician since last year. In 2023, I had the opportunity to implement a major event in the USA. This cool project with a perfectly harmonised team and a happy customer was one of the highlights of my career at Habegger. I really enjoy working with my colleagues and the personal contact I get with clients.”
Gregory has been in charge of event equipment at the Kursaal Bern for 13 years. Habegger entered into a partnership with the event location over 10 years ago and Gregory became part of the Habegger team.
“Transparent – helpful – loyal. That’s what my colleagues are like. I really appreciate exchanging ideas as equals. I like the flat hierarchies and personal interaction. It’s the people that make me feel so comfortable at Habegger and why I’ve been working here for so long. We have the same interests and function in a very similar way. I am also encouraged and can develop personally. I have since withdrawn somewhat from the operational business and am increasingly working as a project manager in the office. I really enjoy accompanying clients through the entire event process from the very beginning right through to implementation. The cooperation with our colleagues in Regensdorf also always works perfectly. That’s what makes the team spirit.”
Jasmin started in accounting at Park Studios AG 16 years ago, until it merged with Habegger. She then took on the position of assistant to the scenography department. Today, Jasmin is Team Leader and Executive Assistant to our CEO Jürg Schwarz.
“I’ve travelled a lot in the event industry in recent years. In addition to my office work, I have also accompanied events as a production assistant or directed events. One of my highlights was organising a three-day AV Alliance get-together in New York with over 80 managers from all over the world. Together with the local AV partner and Simon Ackermann (Chairman of the Board Habegger AG & Managing Partner Live Matters), I put together the conference and the supporting programme. I had also taken over the supervision before the event.
As a team leader, I enjoy passing on my knowledge and supporting people. For me, Habegger is a employer that is very much like a family and with whom you can grow and develop. ”
