The EAO Congress is a dental congress that lasts three days and takes place in a different European country every year. In 2022, the event was held in a hybrid form at Palexpo in Geneva. All of the talks given in person were also recorded and made available to digital viewers on demand at the end of each day. Some individual programme elements, such as the sponsors’ symposium, were also broadcast in real time. To offer the digital audience an equivalent experience to the audience on site, a TV studio was created in which talk rounds were produced for the online format. The specially designed conference app enabled the digital participants to participate and interact live in the discussions.
We were once again responsible for the entire technical implementation and coordination of the event this year. The focus was primarily on quality assurance of the locally engaged suppliers and technical partners, and on coordinating the various crews on site.
