Emotion, depth and vitality: the Swiss dialect band Hecht has been impressing audiences with its live performances for years. At the beginning of November, they played their famous hits as well as new songs from their recently released number 1 chart-topping album “Hecht for Life” in front of 13,000 music fans at the sold-out Hallenstadion.
Spectacular event technology
We were responsible for the overall project management of the unique show in collaboration with Production Service Switzerland. We were also in charge of event management, the rigging – including feasibility studies – signal distribution for the TV broadcast, and all of the event technology operations. Complementing the show design by we enhanced the hit musicians’ appearance with a firework of lighting and LED technology, as well as various special effects. We made it rain, sprayed sparks and got the pulses of the audience racing with a breathtaking laser show.
Extended stage
During their three-hour show the band from Lucerne, led by frontman Stefan Buck, impressively demonstrated why they are among Switzerland’s top live acts. They interacted with the fans and showed themselves to be approachable stars – literally. This was achieved thanks to a 15-metre walkway, plus two scissor lifts which carried the musicians into the crowd. They then rode back to the main stage on surfboards – carried on the hands of the audience.
