Sihlcity – redesign of the shopping centre

As part of the redesign and conversion of the Sihlcity shopping centre in the heart of Zurich, we have upgraded the entrance area of the mall using LED surfaces. These LED walls are designed to be interactive so that the image content reacts to passers-by and adapts accordingly. A total of 28 network cameras are used for this purpose, which are mounted at regular intervals on the façade and detect movements. This creates an attractive advertising space for the client.

The LED surfaces also have a unique shape. The curved contour bands blend naturally into the façade design. The interplay between the shape and material characteristics is reinforced by an illuminated band on the front of the canopy.
