SKAN AG is the international market leader in cleanroom technology, isolator technology and contamination control. Its customers include pharmaceutical companies and laboratories as well as colleges and universities. In order to present its latest equipment and products to a broad target audience, the Swiss company regularly participates in trade fairs. In autumn 2022 they were looking for a new stand builder for this purpose.
From the initial idea to implementation
SKAN’s wish was to create a trade fair presence that would offer an ideal space for meeting and networking, and would focus on its innovative and digital products. A venue was to be created that would stand out at the trade fair, making the target group curious and attracting them to the stand. Together, we developed initial ideas for the company’s trade fair presence at Interpack 2023 in Düsseldorf in a think tank. Based on this, we then designed an interactive trade fair stand that combined the requirement for interchange with the wish for innovation and modernity, in an area of around 70m2.
High-quality, transparent, people-oriented
The design reflected SKAN’s core business: purity. Through the choice of materials and a well-thought-out lighting design, the purist, modern presentation skilfully played with transparencies. The interactive elements stood out elegantly from the hospitality area and yet merged with the overall appearance to create an emotional journey for visitors. This strengthened the perception of SKAN as a market leader and trusted partner in the field of quality and safety.
The exhibition stand has a modular design and can therefore also be adapted for larger areas. Consequently, we were allowed to expand the stand construction and design for ILMAC, which took place in Basel in September 2023, and adapt it to the 160m2 on site. In future, the stand will also be used at ACHEMA in Frankfurt.
