For the annual information event upc cablecom invited its employees into the «Maag Halle Zurich» and after the official part also offered them a party which took place in all the rooms. The «Maag» is ideal for this kind of set changes, even if the modification with a stage, sound check for two band and special light effects within 1.5 hours was a small challenge.
We were responsible for the classic event technology, as well as the directing of the event management and produced the content for the 12x4m screen. The surface was fully modulated the appearance of a frame – with charts of the presentation as well as live images from three cameras. The unusual 3:1 format (normally 16:9 is used for this kind of presentation) is indeed more challenging on a technological level; however, it looks more impressive since it corresponds to the impression of a cinema screen. With the use of stylistic instruments a chic and striking projection was achieved. All presentations were shaped into the trimmed size in a professional manner and animated, as well as a small trailer. And with the directing of the event, not only was it made sure that the right content was played at the right moment and the right person would talk with the right content, but also that all the transitions were exactly right and made sense.
