In the first three months of 2024, we have been able to attract a number of new, talented individuals to the Habegger team, who bring with them a wide range of expertise in various areas – finance, warehousing & logistics, event technology, management and construction. We are delighted to have you with us!

Andrea Lagona | Accountant

From the retail sector to internal sales, accounting and bookkeeping and now in the Finance team at Habegger. Andrea is a mum from the Zürcher Unterland region and live communication is new terrain for her. But experiences like the Pink or Eros Ramazzotti concert at the Hallenstadion fascinate and inspire her.When she read the job advert, she immediately felt drawn to it. “The way the company communicated was very approachable and it’s rare to find a 40% workload – ideal for a balanced family life.”In her new challenge, the focus is on creditors and no longer on debtors. The introduction days were a warm welcome for the communicative accountant and an exciting insight into the company structures from each department lead.

 

Claudio Calabrese | Team Leader Warehouse

The trained cabinetmaker was enthusiastic about craftsmanship from an early age, so he built a model of his parents’ house – a farm – as a young boy, exhibited it and won a prize. Claudio has also been familiar with the event industry since his youth – starting with the organisation of small parties in the community together with three colleagues, later turning their hobby into a profession. As all-rounders in event equipment, the four friends founded a company which they ran for over 15 years. Via various positions in the event industry to Habegger – a home game for the proud family man. “I look forward to further developing and optimising warehouse logistics with my team.” He has already managed many warehouse and logistics projects, drawing on a wealth of experience.

 

Luca Müller | Audio Technician

Besides travelling, his greatest passion is sport, especially surfing. Luca worked for a family business before joining Habegger. The move was accompanied by the desire to switch to a large live communication service provider in order to have a variety of experts in-house, to learn a lot of new things and to be able to develop further. But also to be able to realise a variety of projects. “No matter what type of event, the emotions that are stirred up in people are always magical.” For the 23-year-old audio technician, his start in February was already eventful. “My first production was Art on Ice, which I was allowed to accompany for three weeks. A gigantic event that was very structured and the team worked hand in hand.”

 

Martin Nyfeler | Chief Operating Officer

Martin’s great passion is athletics. He became active in the sport at the age of 13 and has now been an OC member of Weltklasse Zürich for over 10 years. The sporting event also brought the COO into the live communication industry, where he got to know Habegger back in 2014 during the European Athletics Championships.On the customer side, the family man was always impressed by the creative implementations by the event technicians. “The Habegger team has always made the impossible possible. Always solution-orientated and always achieving maximum perfection.”In his private life, he enjoys being outdoors, biking or skiing. In recent years, the Zurich native has worked as Group CFO. He is looking forward to his multi-faceted areas of responsibility and working closely with his teams to develop the company together.

 

Pascal Brunner | Logistics Expert

Pascal completed his apprenticeship in logistics and then worked in production logistics for a long time.At the beginning of 2020, the native of Zurich wanted to complete a language study trip in the USA, but due to coronavirus he decided to become self-employed and worked for Habegger as a freelancer.The first joint project: Weltklasse Zürich 2022. In his free time, Pascal enjoys riding his motorbike over mountain passes and going to concerts. The trained logistics specialist has been part of our eight-strong rental logistics warehouse team since the beginning of March. “As a freelancer, the team spirit has always been unique, the people so open, now I’m delighted to be a permanent part of Habegger.”

 

Selina Schmidt | Office Assistant

After completing her commercial apprenticeship, Selina worked in e-commerce for three years, but had been toying with the idea of switching to the events industry for some time. Selina became aware of Habegger through her circle of friends. In addition to the website, she has also been responsible for the social media presence and has been part of the management team since January.”So far, no two days have been the same, there’s always something new and that’s what makes my job so exciting.” The cheerful Zurich native is particularly looking forward to planning and realising internal and customer events. Participation in the customer event for Art on Ice has also been her absolute highlight so far.The sporty office assistant is also studying part-time for a degree as a Marketing Manager for Communications & Events.

 

Urs Blöchlinger | Team Leader Constructions

The world is a village: Urs has known Habegger for almost 40 years, when Peter Habegger was still staging laser shows in discos. Beautifully designed rooms have always been important to the native of the Zürcher Oberland in order to make people feel comfortable. The trained painter and signwriter is a creative person. For many years of his career, colour psychology has been a key component in his work designing sophisticated places. As a family man, Urs appreciates the open communication culture and respectful interaction at Habegger and was warmly welcomed by his team. “We have so much knowledge in-house from so many different backgrounds, I enjoy bringing everything together, making a difference and creating great things together.” He enjoys spending his free time in the mountains, whether skiing, climbing or hiking.
