Powering forwards:
our team is growing

Habegger | 24 November 2020

A broad portfolio and creative new solutions have ensured over the past few months that we have had plenty to do, despite Corona. This is why we had a number of key positions to fill at Habegger, and we were able to recruit experienced and dedicated colleagues to fill them.

Lukas, Fabio and Michael will be strengthening our team.

Our digital expertise is expanding

Challenges always need to be overcome together. In the live communications business especially, lateral thinking and flexibility are often required for this. So we are all the more delighted that, with our three new team members, we have managed to bring on board considerable expertise, but also a great degree of passion for “wow” moments. It is also thanks to these new colleagues that we have been able to further develop the currently ultra-essential digital events sector – and create attractive offers for our clients.

Lukas Sramek | Director of Operations

Lukas has been in his new position as Director of Operations since the 1st of September. He chose this challenge because he strongly believes in Habegger’s innovativeness. Lukas is no stranger to innovation, since over the last six years he has been the manager of Migros start-up in the field of mobility. His impressive career also includes three years as a risk manager at Swisscom. Lukas therefore not only knows what it takes to dare to try new things, but also how to navigate the associated risks.

Lukas found his first few days with us calm, but intense. “The team welcomed me warmly and made my start here very enjoyable”, he says.

However, I get the impression that many people are missing the dynamic events business.

This is precisely why he is looking forward to developing more new ideas, however, and moving forward successfully into the future with the concentrated wealth of ideas that Habegger has to offer.

If Lukas was an event, then he’d want to be a football match because he likes cheering along to the games with his children.

Fabio Noske | Project Manager

Fabio hasn’t switched industry, but instead just changed companies, since despite the current difficult circumstances, he is certain that he wants to remain in the field of live communication. He loves the events business. Before Fabio came to Switzerland, he worked with the “Made by Hand” and “Vantage” events agencies. Over the course of his career in live communication, he has already travelled the entire world for all kinds of projects. His tremendous experience with digital and hybrid events brought him to Habegger, where he will focus particularly on this sector.

Fabio believes that his job is like that of a circus ringmaster. “Everything seems to be going on at the same time, and you still have to keep everything under control”, he says. There is good cohesion within the team, which is absolutely essential for realising complex projects. “When the teamwork is right, you really relish challenges.”

Fabio likes changes and challenges. This is why he’s able to take something positive out of even the current situation: “The changes that would have had to take place over the next five years anyway are simply going to take place sooner and faster”, says Fabio.

Digital events and new solutions are making our portfolio even broader and brighter.

If Fabio was an event, he’d be a dog sled race. He likes action, sport of all kinds, his camper van and loves being in the great outdoors.

Michael Heuser | Video Technican

Michael has worked in the events sector for twenty years, making a name for himself primarily as a graphic operator. His list of accomplishments includes FIFA conferences and International Olympic Committee (IOC) events. He accepted the post of specialist in video and multimedia at Habegger because he has been collaborating with us for years already, and he knows and likes the company very much. Michael’s induction was therefore virtually seamless:

On the very first day, I saw a lot of familiar faces”, he says. “This made me feel not only welcome, but also quite at home.

Something that impressed him greatly was how quickly Habegger developed and put into operation the new studio für digitale events, and then built two more straight after. The fact that Habegger spotted the demand and responded to it is something I find fantastic, says Michael. The studios give customers the opportunity to create presentations, discussions and other events in a dynamic, safe and digital way.

Michael’s experience and technical skills will also certainly be called upon in many of Habegger’s future projects, since the multi-functional streaming studio was just the first of a series of innovative undertakings.

If Michael was an event, he’d be a concert. “At concerts, even as a technician, you have more freedom”, he says, “You can be more creative and really express yourself.”

We take a look into the future

The first few weeks for our new team members were exciting ones. They are all motivated, passionate and also grateful: not just for their opportunity to work with Habegger, but also most importantly for their family and friends, whose support means a tremendous amount, especially at the moment.
