Event platforms

With the current shift of physical events into the digital world, organisers are losing personal contact and physical opportunities to convey their messages, such as the reception in the lobby or the marketing of own brands via the points of sale. The event platform is now available as an alternative. It is not only the virtual entry point of your event, but it also allows you to bring the visitor journey to life online, to build a community and to communicate the messages in a sustainable way.

There are hardly any limits to your design. We advise you in line with your needs. Whether it be 2D or 3D designs – in the end, your budget, your target group, the interface functions (integration of streaming and interaction tools) and above all your message decide on the design and the functions.

Since April 2020, we have already held over 100 digital events. As a result, our customers benefit from a wealth of experience. In the gallery below you can see examples of event platforms.

Choice of platform

The choice of the platform does not have to be a painful process. What is essential, however, is that you are already clear about which requirements and needs it should serve. Do you need help with that? We will be happy to advise you. It literally matters whether you have planned a breakout session or a linear stream. The design is also crucial: is a simple presentation overview enough for you, or do you want to immerse your participants in their own 2D or 3D world?

Type of platform

It is important for us that you understand that there are different types of platform. Some are ideal for simple streams, others for complex, multi-day events. We distinguish between “Basic-version platforms” and “Full-version platforms” for better illustration.

Basic-version platforms

Suitable for linear streams and simple presentations. Community building, interactivity and branding individuality take a subordinate role. The emphasis lies on the one-way communication of the content.

  • Individual branding is possible to a limited extent
  • Integration of presentation slides, texts or graphics
  • Interactivity with Question & Answer tool, surveys, votes, live chats or via social media channels
  • National and international connections

Full-version platforms

Suitable for large or multi-day events with lots of interaction and breakout sessions. Creating your own digital world and community-building play a central role. The customer journey can be designed perfectly.

  • Individual branding, 2D and 3D front end possible, free design options
  • Integration of presentation slides, texts or graphics
  • Interactivity with Question & Answer tool, surveys, votes, live chats or via social media channels
  • Option for breakout sessions/workshops
  • Other functions such as agenda, welcome zone, sponsors’ area, product information, online shop, etc. 
  • Community building thanks to user profiles and exchange opportunities
  • National and international connections

Basic version vs. full version

Important: There is no “right” or “wrong” when choosing a platform. Besides your needs and demands, the budget, the staffing and time resources, your target group and your message are also key. The costs for basic versions are of course significantly lower than for full platforms. However, they leave you less room to give the ideal design to your customer journey.

Inventory and consultancy

Clarifying customers’ requirements, the technology already available and determining the relevant interfaces are all tasks to be completed at the start of every broadcasting project. We advise you on everything and show you what options are available for your broadcasting solution.

Customer-specific concept creation

We design a carefully thought-out concept for the broadcasting technology to be integrated for your event or at your location, including the budget, clarification of the interfaces, extensive documentation and acceptance.

Commissioning and maintenance

During commissioning, we accompany you and your team throughout the entire process and ensure that everything works without any problems. Our portfolio of services also includes the maintenance of installed systems.

Specialist solutions

An off-the-shelf solution does not always meet every requirement, which means that we also develop specialist solutions at our customers’ request. Be this streaming in a cable car gondola or transmission via drones – we make broadcasting possible in whatever form you want.
