We were entrusted for the first time with the organisation of Avolta’s annual General Management Meeting – an international meeting of 120 senior managers who travelled from all over the world. The four-day event is organised at a different location every year.
The Habegger team spent four months planning the staging of the annual event which took place on the Bürgenstock in 2025. In addition to the overall technical and project management, we were also responsible for the room and stage design. These included, among other matters:
Around 50 Habegger employees worked round the clock during the 24-hour set-up and dismantling phases, supplemented by a 15-strong event team on site. Three truckloads of material, various site visits and meticulous planning and visualisations ensured that the process and technology worked seamlessly. The project was particularly complex due to numerous consultations and the close coordination of various trades; it therefore required maximum precision in the execution.
The programme ranged from strategy workshops and presentations on international best practices to a guest appearance by extreme athlete Dani Arnold. The tight schedule on the second day of the event was particularly challenging: within just two hours, the ballroom had to be completely remodelled for the evening reception and the subsequent gala dinner. This is where our flexibility and well-rehearsed coordination came into play.
A highlight was the gala dinner under the direction of star chef Dennis Puchert, complemented by an artistic production combining gastronomy and performance. Our team was particularly appreciated by the client for the quality of detail, such as the organisation of two Cimbali coffee machines to provide the best Italian espresso.
The event ran smoothly: last-minute programme adjustments and special requests were implemented professionally at all times. Close cooperation between two equal partners and trust in our expertise formed the foundation for success. The Avolta CEO recognised the flexibility and reliability of the Habegger team on site with a personal thank-you.
