Covid-19 safety plan for digital & physical events

Event vs. Corona & Safety vs. Emotions - we deliver the complete package. We not only design your event successfully, but we also offer you a Covid-19 risk analysis, a fully comprehensive safety plan and solutions for contact tracing.

Update: In Switzerland, all types of large-scale events have been permitted again without restrictions since 17.02.2022. Upon request, we will continue to create a protection concept for your event with all the desired measures.

Habegger has developed a BAG-compliant Covid-19 strategy for this that is divided into the following three modules:

All 3 modules can be  individually adapted to your project – they are independent of each other, but at best they are coordinated.

3 safety steps for
digital & live events

    1. Covid-19 risk analysis

How does the Habegger risk analysis work?

We will evaluate for your company where there are risks of infection and how great the risk for your guests is of becoming infected with Corona virus at your event. We will carry out the risk analysis in accordance with the stipulations of the WHO.

After a detailed discussion with you about your upcoming event, we will be able to identify and assess the dangers using a thorough risk analysis. You will receive an evaluation of the risk classification based on a “Low – Medium – High” rating.

What do we analyse for you?

We scrutinise and analyse all aspects of your event that may contain possible infection risks in order to determine the risk classification. Among other things, the risk analysis examines:

  • Where your guests are from
  • The size of the at-risk group among your participants
  • The means of transport by which your guests are arriving
  • The Covid-19 check at your event
  • The organiser’s knowledge of the Corona measures

Subsequently, ee will be happy to advise you on how we can redesign your event and what measures are required to reduce the risk of infection and improve the danger classification.

With this risk analysis it is possible for you to see how low or high the danger for your guests is of becoming infected with the virus at your event.

Total costs: CHF 500

      2. Safety Plan

What does the process of creating the safety plan entail for you?

After a discussion with you, we will develop a customised safety plan for your event based on the information you provide. The requirements vary from canton to canton,  we will ascertain these and take them into account in the concept.

You will therefore receive a Covid-19 safety plan from us that is tailored to your event and your guests.

In addition, we will consult you on protective measures that are particularly effective for digital and physical events, such as:

  • Air control: air cleaning for virus-free air
  • Temperature control: monitoring via thermal imaging camera
  • Flow control: digital solution for guest marshalling
  • Distance control: sensor for individual distance measurement

This means you can expand the safety plan for your next event and avoid or at least minimise potential infections with Covid-19.

The safety plan will include all Corona-compliant measures that your event and location require. Please note: a safety plan does not neccessairily say anything about the risk of infection.

Costs: from CHF 500

We also show how safety measures can be creatively integrated into your event and staged in a positive light. The proof that it works is provided by the event “Back to live” by our German colleagues. As an official sponsor of the Swiss “Clean & Safe” label, we are also dynamically adopting the current regulations of the BAG as well as regional and local authorities and complying with them reliably.

      3. Contact tracing

Contact tracing is an important protective measure to be able to contact all event participants in case of a positive corona test and to rule out further infections.

What are the possibilities?

Individually tailored to your needs and requirements, we will be happy to advise you on the different qualitative and contact tracing options available for events.

The most important aspect of this protective measure is that all contact details of the event participants – from guests to service providers – are recorded.

Basic contact tracing at Habegger is based on an individual QR code, which takes your guests to a microsite to enter their contact details. The data is stored for 2 weeks. Optionally, other measures can be added such as a double check to verify contact details by sending an SMS code to identify the correct personal details.

Costs: from CHF 350 per event

Tips: Event security creatively staged

Your guest should enjoy your event and have a good time without worrying about anything. If you integrate the necessary protective measures into your event concept elegantly, they won’t be off-putting, but will be accepted by your guests and may even provide a special experience.

This means you ensure that your visitors do not feel offended, but feel safe and well taken care of even in situations that feel unfamiliar at first.

“Back to live” showcase

Our sister company Satis&fy and many other representatives of the event industry in Germany, together with the association FAMAB, organised the “Back to live” event at the Fredenhagenhallen in Offenbach.

Under the motto “Back to live”, innovative event concepts were brought to life. The new event concepts were implemented based on the recommendations for action by the Research Institute RIFEL in collaboration with virologists and occupational physicians for the event industry during Covid-19. The aim was to show that physical events can be planned and run successfully even with the new safety measures. And it worked: in spite of all the constraints, the 150 participants had a great time.
